“Attorney Russell Matson To Speak at Massachusetts Bar Association Seminar on OUI Representation”

Braintree, MA  – Russell Matson, a prominent attorney who defends drunk driving cases, will be a faculty speaker at a seminar put on by the Massachusetts Bar Association. The event is entitled “Representing the OUI Client”, and it will take place on April 26, 2007 at the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover. Attorney Matson, along with several other “stars of the profession” will speak to other lawyers and law students about how to successfully represent a client facing OUI charges in Massachusetts.

The program will be a presentation and panel discussion on OUI defense techniques, and strategies, including: case evaluation and assessment, discovery, use of experts, motions, and cross examination, among other topics. “I always enjoy the opportunity to share the knowledge and experience in defending the rights of the OUI accused with other attorneys,” said Mr. Matson. He went on to say “I wouldn’t have the successful OUI defense practice I have today if not for all the help I received from others when I was first starting out. The chance to give back and share what I’ve learned is truly a privilege.”

Attorney Russell Matson is a criminal defense attorney who concentrates his practice in OUI (Operating Under the Influence) defense. He is a sought-after legal speaker and commentator, having been seen on Fox25 News and Channel 5 in Boston.  He has been quoted in the Patriot Ledger, Boston Herald, and Men’s Health Magazine, and he has lectured on OUI & Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicle and Hardship License issues for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) and the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (MACDL).   His web site is http://madrunk.pdxids.com.
