- Vehicular Homicide while Operating to Endanger only: Mandatory minimum of 30 days in jail, maximum up to 2 1/2 years; substantial fines, and license loss for 15 years.
- (as of 10/28/05) Manslaughter by Motor Vehicle carries a minimum mandatory sentence of 5 years in jail.
Some of these are new changes to the laws as a result of Melanie’s Law.
